We have boat plans (both yacht designs, catamaran designs and power designs) for all sizes. From the 12ft Mushulu Dinghy stitch & glue yacht tender to the Oceansky 57 catamaran. We design timber boats, plywood boats, strip plank boats, fibreglass composite boats, steel and aluminum boats to very modern styling for both monohull designs or multihull designs, powerboat or sailboat and in round bilge, multi-chine or radius chine hull forms.

These plans are very easily read and, have plenty of detail for anybody with a little bit of skill to go and build their own boat.
I took Marks advice and purchased Gougeon Brothers on Boat Construction Thanks Mark, good call as I like to have plenty of reliable info at hand.
So far it's been a lot of fun. The girls are getting more interested each day, as they can now see something developing. The conversation usually ends up with us out on the lake or the bay racing some one or something. For me, this has been a tremendous change, as I'm usually at this time of the year, sitting around cursing the lack of surf down here on the south coast. Why I didn't do this years ago, I don't know, as its turning into a terrific family project. With the two big lakes near by, just screaming out for more people to sail on them, we can't wait until were finished.

My darling thought I had gone mad when I told her that I was pulling apart my office space to build a boat. This process took some time as I had collected a lot of useful things over the years. At this point in time I had received my plans from Mark and spoken to the man himself on the phone. Things were looking pretty good As a professional custom home builder, I am constantly dealing with architects and their designs all the time.
